Thank you for the compliment! The strategy for Twitter and Instagram, interestingly enough, is the same! You want your follower count to be greater than the number of people you are following. You need tools to do that. For Twitter: This post explains how to use Tweepi and Crowdfire to keep your follower/following ratio in check: How to quickly get hundreds of Twitter followers. Instead of using Tweepi and Crowdfire, I now use Commun.iT and Crowdfire, both are free tools. As far as Instagram is concerned, this post discusses how to boost your Instagram following: 8 Things you need to know for monetizing Instagram. I follow the same strategy I do with Twitter: I make sure the number I follow is less than the number that follow me. To do this, I use the Followers app, a free tool I love.

I am very VERY regimented. For the most part, I spend every waking moment on my blog. Even while watching TV, I clean out my Twitter box, I brush my teeth while I work on lowering the number of people I follow on Instagram. This post will explain and offer additional schedules for your busy readers: How to Blog and Still have time to sleep.
My blogging and social media tips eBook was recently reviewed here. Rather than brag, I’ll quote an excerpt of the review of my book:
It’s Urgent If You Blog To Read This Book!
Urgency, made this book hard to read. After blogging for almost five years, I thought I knew enough to write a book about blogging!
Unlock the secrets to success in business, digital marketing, personal finance, and more by subscribing to our newsletter from Business and Life Tips
Ha ha! I learned so many tips, some quick, some that took longer, that it took me two weeks to get halfway through Janice’s book because I had to stop so many times and take action.
Do you want to grow your blog?
By that I mean have more traffic, readers, friends, and people who are influenced by YOU?
Blogging has changed since I started five years ago. Hundreds of thousands of bloggers have joined the blogosphere. If you are OK if NOBODY visits your blog, then do not bother to read this book.
If you are convinced that you KNOW everything about blogging, and your blog could not get ANY better, PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS BOOK.
If you get confused by all the tips, tricks and blind alleys that you head down trying to understand all the skills involved in blogging, then READ the book.
What if you STILL have questions when you reach the end of the book?
By the end of the book, you will probably have visited her blog and gotten acquainted. Not only that, you will have met over a hundred influencers in the field or niche of blogging. Some of them are probably going to be your next best friends.
This is my book blurb:

Just when you get frustrated and decide to quit, you may find Google finally believes your blog exists and starts showing your articles to people.
