How to increase the Engagement on your Facebook Page

With the ever-changing digital marketing space, you need to keep up with the latest social media marketing techniques to achieve the best results on your Facebook Page. Facebook keeps making changes to its algorithms and currently Post’s Engagement rates plays a key role in determining the number of followers who get to see the post in their news feed.

So what is Engagement? These are given actions on a post, and these actions can be: likes, shares or comments. A good engagement is 1% or above. An Engagement rate of 0.5% to 0.99% is average. Anything below 0.5% means that you need to realign your message to that of your audience’s expectation and in the process attract more compelling and engaging messages from your community members.

How to increase Engagement on your Facebook Page

To keep your engagement rates in acceptable ranges or above, you have to find ways to increase the engagement which in turn improves your posts exposure in the news feed of your followers.

So let’s now look at ways you can increase the engagement on your Facebook Page:

Post at the best time

Posting time plays a key factor if you want to increase the engagement on your post. For example posting very late in the night or when no one is online will definitely attract a very low engagement rate. Some of the best time to post, is in the evening when most people are online or on the weekends. Facebook insights statistics can give you a better idea as to the appropriate time to post.
