Ezoic vs. AdThrive, Which is the Best Option to Monetize your Website?

Choosing the right ad network to monetize your website can be a challenging task especially when you are a new publisher. In addition, the numerous ad networks available make this task even more difficult. In the end, you might not be able to identify the best networks to work with for the best performance. This is a problem that faces both new and seasoned publishers. It is therefore important to know how to find the right network to sign up with. This involves doing your own research on ad networks available and their features, kinds of the ads they offer, their terms and conditions, etc. You also need to read the reviews online to find out what other publishers are saying about them or their experiences working with the ad network in focus. This will help you make an informed decision.

In this article, we compare the features of Ezoic to those of AdThrive to help you make the right decision when choosing between the two networks. Both of these networks provide a platform for medium to high traffic websites to monetize their websites.

So what should you consider when choosing either Ezoic or AdThrive? We will answer this question as we discuss the features of each of this network.

Ezoic vs. AdThrive

Ezoic

Ezoic is somewhat different from other ad networks because besides displaying ads, they test and optimize them. In fact their main goal is to test and optimize ads for the best performance or results. With Ezoic network you are able to test various types of ad combinations in terms of sizes, colours, placements and even compare ad networks against each other.

Ezoic network employs AI (Artificial Intelligence) to learn the visitor’s behaviour in order to improve the site’s performance i.e. revenue and user experience. Ezoic acts like an ad management system, in which, they test multiple ads from various ad networks in different locations on your website to establish the best combination in terms of performance.

Once Ezoic approves your website, they will help you with the set-up, thereafter they will take care of the optimization and maintenance of the ads on your site. Therefore you are able to concentrate on creating high quality content and not get concerned with how to place ads on your site for the best performance.

Ezoic offers a free trial, where you are able to test these features and see how they can positively improve your site performance in terms of ad revenue and user experience. To join Ezoic, you need at least 10,000 monthly page views. But if your site has less than 10, 000 monthly page views, you can opt for their Access Now option that is open to all publishers irrespective of their monthly page views.

Finally, Ezoic is a Google certified publisher partner, they employ Google best practices when maximizing performance and earnings with Google Adsense, DoubleClick ad exchange & Double click for publishers. It is important to note that, you can work with both Google Adsense and Ezoic at the same time. Actually Ezoic helps in optimizing Google Adsense ads for you too.

AdThrive

AdThrive just like Ezoic offers ad management services. Their features include and not limited to:

  • Custom ad placement and optimization.
  • Advertiser relationship management.
  • Expert support.
  • Video monetization and hosting.
  • Exclusive premium campaigns negotiated by their in-house staff.
  • Mobile ad optimization

Not everyone can join AdThrive; they actually require 100,000 monthly page views to join. This is a very high requirement for most publishers hence this locks out people who would have wanted to register with the network. In addition having the monthly 100,000 page views is not enough; majority of your traffic should be from the USA. You site should also be in good terms with Google adsense or other major ad networks and the site’s content should be of high quality and appealing to the readers.

Since AdThrive is a Google certified publishing partner, you are sure that the ad implementation strategies they employ are improved by Google, so you can’t run into problems with Google policies.
